I was lurking around the other forums last night and it broke my heart to read a thread about young men who absolutely shame themselves for doing this. One young man even said his friend's parents put him on severe restriction when they caught him in the act. What do these parents hope to accomplish by punishing their children for doing something that comes so naturally that even babies get a kick out of doing it? |

Little babies/infants don't even know what they are doing. Adults and teens know perfectly well and exactly why too. There is no ignorance involved w/ teens and adults.

Christians make such a huge deal about sex and whatnot being specifically for procreation, well Christian guys, if you want to make sure you hit the mark, there you go. |

Most young guys trying to be uber-chrstian will take it as the biggest sin in their life because, well, they do it alot and don't have much else to battle. Most young girls just thinks it's 'yucky' so of course it must be a wrong. But most mature people (christian and otherwise) will shrug it off, realizing that regardless of what you think you are going to do it anyway and it's the obsessing and guilt over that fact that is the real sin. |

That's doing a bandwagon. Just because others do something, doesn't mean all of them do and doesn't mean you should or need to.
