Reps: 74 (power: 0) | | | I don't really claim to have any knowledge of what, if anything, is 'outside' the universe. How one could come to a conclusion that there is water 'outside' of our universe is beyond me.

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | has anyone heard of m theory (this may be a stupid question)
I saw this documentary on it, p-branes and all that. seemed pretty crazy, but the doco was saying that it solves equations that were formerly unsolvable

That's the so called "new new superstring theory", right? |

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | physics is a big mystery to me, but I think the gist of it is that there are a bunch of alternate universes in the 11th dimension of all different shapes and sizes, and that perhaps the big bang was the result of two of these universes colliding

Reps: 52 (power: 0) | | | How can we know? The Universe is composed of a lot of hydrogen which is a main component in water.
As far as human knowledge goes, we have to conclude at this stage that the Universe goes on forever, as we cannot even begin to speculate on boundries. |

Reps: 14 (power: 0) | | I voted No.
So far we can see some 15 billion light-years into 'space' if there would be actual water at the outskirts the next question would be how it is held together. Sure we have no clue, but it seems irrational for anything to be present except 'nothing'.
Also Hydrogen is plentiful, oxygen is not.
