Reps: 845 (power: 0) | | I bet. Its a shame you had to shoot him I don't know how to show a quote, but the above was quoted by Bohemian We shoot them to eat them, not just to kill them. No different than killing a cow to eat, or a chicken. The day after Thanksgiving, I was sitting in a 15ft. ladder stand. My husband and I got in the woods about 3:00. About 4:15 I heard the deer moving in the woods, and out of the corner of my eye, I saw one coming close to me. I wouldn't turn my head to look because I didn't want "it" to see me and get scared. It ran back to the woods, then crept back out. I still had not seen the deer, and thought that because of the way it was running around that it must be a yearling. All of a sudden I saw horns. Of course my blood is pumping now. He was an 8 point, and 2 minutes later a 6 point walked in. Man I was shaking so bad I didn't think I was going to be able to get the gun up to my shoulder. Finally I did, and I took the 8 point. Shooting from ladders stands is a lot scarier than shooting from a shooting house. |

Reps: 394 (power: 0) | | | i caught two with a long bow last year i think its a more fair way to hunt, and safe too. guns are unfair sure it may increase your chances of getting a deer but not like the deer but it just dosnt suit me
