I struggle heavily with porn, masturbation, and homosexuality on a daily basis... and I'm fed up with it!
I'm starting this thread to hopefully help a lot of people, including myself. I pray that this thread and "None for 30 days club" if you will, will help us get out of our habitual tendencies to give into this temptation sent from the slimey snake satan, and move us in the right direction. I will pray for everyone on this thread every day without fail until AT LEAST someone is delivered. God wants me to do this... and I will follow my Lord.
Here's how it goes...
1) Always be honest. If you fall to either porn or masturbation, post it. If we don't hide anything or lie about it, I believe that God will move through our lives because we ARE trying.
2) Try to post everyday so that we can see each others' progress.
3) It will last 30 days. Even if the thread has been going on for a while and you wanna jump in, PLEASE DO! I want EVERYONE that suffers in this category to do this. We can pray for each other and defeat these thoughts.
4) A normal daily update post could look like this:
***3 days completed successfully!!!***
Please feel free to post more though and tell us of your strategies, troubles, and anything else you want to post.
5) I know that a lot of people probably have porn saved on their Hard drives or bookmarked on their computers. Myself, I am going to use this thread to get to the point of where I can let it go, realize that I don't need it, and delete ALL of it.
6) When you reach 30 days, keep going! Even if you post everyday for the next 7 years, AWESOME!!! I wanna see posts that are saying hundreds of days without it.
7) When you want to join in this, please just post that you wanna kick the devil's butt so that I can write your screenname down on my little notebook so I can pray for you. If you did that also, that would be great! I know that the list may be a small amount, or hopefully, may be too long to write.
I think that this can be a big success and I hope that other people join. Just keep a little count on your home calendar or in a notebook. The good thing is, if we fall, God will pick us up right there, brush the dirt off of us, and say try again My child. Thank you God for the numerous chances that you give us!
I need someone's help. I'm going to start when the first person joins. I can't do it alone, as I've tried before, so that's why I'm waiting. Good luck to everyone and let's keep posting our successes and failures on here... we can do this!!!

This is a great principle of accountability, but you will also need to feed on Jesus and the word of God and desire that more than you want to view porn/masturbate. I have come out of impurity so I know of that which I speak.
Also you have to "amputate" whatever makes you crumble in a moment of weakness. It can be TV, movie rentals, magazines, other people who you had illicit relations/attractions. Just cut it off.
Setting Captives Free.com has a course called Way of Purity that will give a lot of scripture plus practical suggestions. I highly recommend it. There is also a message board there too, which is great because everyone understands this too well.
It wasn't too bad at all! I'm very happy with it. Satan did put a lot of "distractions" in my way today but I didn't act on anything. Very happy about today!

Good Job! Dude, keep it up! I'm praying for us. It's Wednesday morning right now, so another day ahead of me. I don't feel too strong right now, but I need to spend a bit of time with God this morning
