Prayers for Mike

My fiance, Mike, hurt his back at work last night really bad. He's got a pulled muscle either in his lower back or the upper part of his leg and it has made it very difficult for him to get around.

So if you could just pray for quick healing....he gets rather miserable when he's in pain.

Holy God, I ask that you, in your mercy and love for mankind, would bestow your healing upon Mike's back, that he might use it to your glory. And Lord, should you wait longer than Mike thinks necessary before healing him, please develope patient endurance in him that he might be a blessing to all around him. Amen

So how is he..I was praying..sorry, I should have posted..

He's doing a bit better....It is still kind of sore...but he can move around and he's gone back to work....so prayers are still appreciated. But he is doing a lot better then when I posted this....so thank you for the prayers so far!!!

And a week later - is he doing better? And if not, is there something specific we can be praying for? *wishing whitney had posted earlier in response, arg*

hehe...that's okay whit.

He's still doing okay. There are days he feels fine and others when it hurts a bit. Those are the days he doesn't have to work...because he sits around at home and does homework or watches TV. At work he's on his feet and moving around all night with short breaks.

I'm working on trying to get him to use stuff like Ben-Gay or any other kind of ointment/rub to help with the pain...but that's a long process.

I gotta say that I'm not the biggest advocate for Ben-Gay (or Icy-Hot, any of that stuff) myself...

*silly grin* I remember using it one time during a two-week ballet workshop, we were so sore we couldn't walk normally without horrid muscle pain...so we had the bright idea to break out the muscle cream - I was in tears a little later because I'd used too much and the weird cold/hot feeling was WAY intense. Just *ahem* read the instructions before you let him use it <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/ohwell.gif ALT=":\">
