Love The Days Of Awe,The Birth Pains of the Messiah

Isaiah 26:17-20
17 As the pregnant woman approaches the time to give birth, She writhes and cries out in her labor pains, Thus were we before Thee, O LORD. 18 We were pregnant, we writhed in labor, We gave birth, as it were, only to wind. We could not accomplish deliverance for the earth Nor were inhabitants of the world born. 19 Your dead will live; Their corpses will rise. You who lie in the dust, awake and shout for joy, For your dew is as the dew of the dawn, And the earth will give birth to the departed spirits. 20 Come, my people, enter into your rooms, And close your doors behind you; Hide for a little while, Until indignation runs its course.

Hi Tishri1,

As you may know, verses 19 and 20 relate to the living prophecy of Daniel and the lions den which deals with the church being raptured out of end time Babylon. There was a conspiracy against Daniel just as there is against the church today. We see this same endtime indignation also mentioned in Pslams 2:1-2 and Matthew 24:9b.

"1 ¶ Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,"

"...ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake."

Yahshua makes mention of these things and identifys which nation is endtime Babylon by answering from "WHERE" the rapture will for the most part take place,

Luke 17:
34 I tell you, in that night there shall be two men in one bed; the one shall be taken, and the other shall be left.
35 Two women shall be grinding together; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
36 Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
37 And they answered and said unto him, Where, Lord? And he said unto them, Wheresoever the body is, thither will the eagles be gathered together.

It's not to difficult to know today which nation is represented by the eagle.

The rapture will mirrror Daniel and the lions den.

Like Noah who knew 7 days in advance the flood was coming and was told to enter into the Ark, so also, shortly before the rapture takes place on Tishri 1, 2007 many in the church will understand and will go into their rooms and shut the door as was done with Noah (this may be the 10 days of Rev. 2:10 and also mirror the 10 days the 120 disciples were in the upper room).

Not much time left before the Antichrist's second coming and there is a great shout, "behold the bridegroom cometh." Only 2 Christmas days left before September 2007.

Your brother in Christ.

Pregnancy last nine months, then labor can last hours and days for some. If the last 2000 years have been the pregnancy of "perfect in Christ" are we in the labor pains which can last 3 1/2 years?

If by the 3.5 years you are refering to the first half of the tribulation then no we are not experiencing this yet . For that to take place the covenent with israel has to be confirmed by the antichrist .that is the beggining of the tribulation. I believe we are close to this event but I am looking up for the Lord Jesus.Maranatha

Jesus himself didn't know the date at which he will return so how did you get that??? Hello if you know um.... why didn't he?

Mark 13:32 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father.
Matthew 25:13 So stay awake and be prepared, because you do not know the day or hour of my return.

I bet God has this big calendar and whenever someone sugest a day he goes and puts a checkmark on it and says "so I guess it can't happen that day."

He does have a big calendar, sad though that no one pays attention to it....but times are changing and more people are realizing that there are appointed times that God has set aside meet with us and for us to set aside as markers in time .....Did you know that the phrase "The Day that no one Knows" is actually describing a Day on His Calendar?

Hi Tishri1,

I agree, if someone today said, "I am going to come visit you on the day when, 'not a creature is stirring not even a mouse', everyone in America would know what day or Holiday/Feastday I was speaking about.

In Christ

Hi Dance, happy birthday!!

Yahshua said, " Take heed that ye be not deceived: for many shall come in my name (CHRISTIAN), saying, ..."

Almost all Christians teach and believe that the day and hour no one knows of Matthew 24:36 and Mark 13:32 is talking about the rapture. It is not; look again at these two verses and their context more carefully. Both of these two verses start with the coordinating conjunction word "BUT" and are connected therefore to their prior verse and is written in contrast to being able to KNOW the last generation of their second prior verse (hope this makes sense.). Both of these two verses are talking about the day and hour when heaven and earth will pass away. This event is some 1000 years after the rapture.

Mark 13:

31 Heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.

Matthew 24:

35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Now lets look at the other verse you quoted.

Matthew 25:13 So stay awake and be prepared, because you do not know the day or hour of my return.

Reading just this verse without considering neither the context nor the actual Greek words used I would certainly agree with your interpretation. Matthew could have used one of several Greek words that translate "to know" in English. The Greek word here is #1492 which is different then #1097 used in Matthew 24:32, 33, 39, 43, 50, etc.

Read this below carefully for more understanding on this Greek word #1492.

3700. optanomai optanomai, op-tan'-om-ahee

to gaze (i.e. with wide-open eyes, as at something remarkable; and thus differing from 991, which denotes simply voluntary observation; and from 1492, which expresses merely mechanical, passive or casual vision; while 2300, and still more emphatically its intensive 2334, signifies an earnest but more continued inspection; and 4648 a watching from a distance):--appear, look, see, shew self.

See Greek 3708 (horao)

See Greek 991 (blepo)

See Greek 1492 (eido)

See Greek 2300 (theaomai)

See Greek 2334 (theoreo)

See Greek 4648 (skopeo)

Matt. 24:42 and Matt. 25:13 and Mark 13:33, 35 all use the Greek word 1492, this is why in this context He tells us to WATCH, etc. If we cannot know the time why would He tell us to watch for the signs so we can KNOW (# 1097 much stronger word then #1492) when it is near, even at the doors?

_________

1097. ginwskw ginosko, ghin-oce'-ko

a prolonged form of a primary verb; to "know" (absolutely) in a great variety of applications and with many implications (as follow, with others not thus clearly expressed):--allow, be aware (of), feel, (have) know(-ledge), perceived, be resolved, can speak, be sure, understand.

_________

If we cannot know the year and day of the rapture then this would contridict Matthew 24:37, which say's,

"But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be."

Noah knew the exat year 120 years in advance. He knew the day the flood was coming at least 7 days in advance (see Genesis 6 and 7).

We can know the year and day because of the many types given, the Feast days used with John 4, the 5th letter of the Hebrew alphabet written extra small in Genesis 2:4 along with the 5th letter of the Hebrew alphabet written extra large in Deut. 32:6, the structure or numbering of the chapters of the 5 books of Psalms along with the position or structuring of the books of the New Testament, The lining up of the planets in a straight line on May 5th, 2000 (Hebrew New year as given in Exodus 12, barley was not ripe the prior month), and the 6 day war of June 6, 1967 when the Hebrew leaders refused to take the temple mount because there were "giants in the land."

As far as what I wrote about the 2nd coming of antichrist on perhaps some yet Christmas day, this just seems the mostly logical day of the year given Revelation 11:10 and the ocultic background and meaning of that day. I wouldn't be surprised to see JFK come back on the 359th day of the year as 359 is the number of the name of Satan in Hebrew. I would expect IF this is going to happen it would be Christmas of 2006.

The Bible shows us in several verses that the rapture will not be on just any day but on the Feast of Trumpets (see John 4:35 with Lev. 23:22; Joel 2; Psalm 81:3-6; 1 Cor. 15:52; 1 Thess. 4:16; Rev. 4:1; and Isa. 18:3, 7 with Zech. 9:16).

Hope this helps,

Your brother in Christ.
