Prayers for a fellow lay speaker

This came through my church's prayer chain.

Catherine Snook is the lay leader at another local United Methodist Church. I met her last year when we took advanced lay speaking. We went together for our interviews by the lay speaking committee and then got our final certificates and pins at the same church service.

It was just discovered that she might have cancer throughout her body.

So prayers for her, her family, her church, and the doctors would be appreciated. Thanks.

God, You've made it clear to us that when we ask something in Your name and in accordance with Your will, You hear us! God, thank You for being such a caring God - we bring Catherine before you now, lifting her up in the only way we know how. We have faith that you can heal her - and we ask that you do just that. But more importantly, let your Will be done in this situation, even if we cannot comprehend it from earthly eyes. Give us strength, and help Catherine and those around her see Your face.
