You claimed the disciples were told to watch for 'those things'; I asked you what things? What are they told to 'watch' for? (actually, 'watch', because of-)

The biblical answer is to 'watch' that you be ready to meet your LORD so that you do not see the wrath of God, for He comes as a thief in the night. For those who have not watched, living godly sober lives, being ready to meet their LORD when He comes, they will not be taken to Him when He gathers His own people to Himself so that the final man of sin can then be revealed to the world and have his hour of power over this world -and the wrath of God be poured out upon his kingdom.

for those who 'watch' in prayer and live godly sober lives, they will be counted worthy to escape all these

Luk 21:36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

For those who are left, who repent and believe, there is the hope of enduring till the end, that they might be saved -or martyrdom.

The Church is looking for the appearing of our LORD, not for 'things', for there is not one single sign to be fullfilled before His glorious appearing to 'laqach' His congregation to Himself, to hide them away in their own 'rooms' as Isaiah 26:19-21 shows, when He comes out of His place to punish the inhabitants of the world.

This is long enough - 'THIS generation' that shall not pass away,

The Disciples asked what the sign of His coming would be and of the
END

OF the

WORLD =AGE.

WHen He returns, the age of the wicked ends. The seed of the evil one is the wicked generation that shall pass away -not the seed of the righteous.

The disciples were not asking if they would live to see it, but when the wicked would pass from the earth and the reign of Peace begin.

The Generation that shall pass away is the seed of the devil =the tares, when He returns and the righteous inherit the earth.

Gen 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Mat 13:38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked [one];

Mat 13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

Mat 13:40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world =AGE.

Mat 5:5 Blessed [are] the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

sa 37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.

Psa 14:5 There were they in great fear: for God [is] in the generation of the righteous

Psa 12:7 Thou shalt keep them, O LORD, thou shalt preserve them from this generation for ever.

Psa 37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.

The tares are sown in the world from Genesis 3:15, when the evil one got 'seed' by planting his wicked word in the hearts of Adam and Eve -and in Genesis 4, when Cain received the wicked thoughts as seed and it bore fruit in his wicked deed, for the Word says Cain was 'of that wicked one'; seed of the wicked one can be redeemed and be the seed of the rightoeous, by repenting and Believing in His blood; but at the end of the age, when the LORD returns to reign, not one seed of the generation of the wicked one will remain on the earth, for all will be gathered and burned, as tares are burned in harvest.


The wicked will pass away, the righteous will inherit the earth, at the end of the 'AGE', when He returns to reign over the earth in Peace from Jerusalem.

Just as the wicked passed away when the flood came, so the entire wicked seed will be removed from this earth when the LORD returns -as Psalm 37 so vividly depicts 'Indeed! you shall search diligently for his place -but it shall not be found!"


No One Knows the Day or Hour
(Mark 13:32-37; Luke 17:26, 27, 34, 35; 21:34-36)
36 "But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of *heaven, but My Father only.
37 But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
38 For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark,
39 and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.

This wicked generation, the seed of the wicked one, the one evil generation, whose father is the devil, shall pass away at the end of the age -and be found no more on this earth -for the angels will be sent to gather them up and they shall be burned in the lake of fire forever -and then the twelve Apsotles will be resurrected and regenerated and sit on twelve thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel for the millennium.
Jesus promised they would be resurrected and regenerated and sit on twelve thrones. He did not say they would remain alive until He came.

If so, they would have repeated it;
Jhn 21:23 Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what [is that] to thee?
But they understood which generation would pass -being told that the tares would be gathered out and burned and that the tares are the seed =generation, of the devil -since the garden.

God has no grandchildren, The harvest of the earth will be of only two generations to Him; the seed of the righteous and the seed of the wicked one. Neither the devil nor God have grandchildren, but each one is born unto the LORD or unto the wicked one, by words received in their hearts and acted upon, bringing forth fruit to righteousness or to wickedness.

In the LORD, we are brothers and sisters -or in the devil, we are brothers and sisters.
There are only two generations as to the harvest of the earth's souls, and the one that passes away is the seed of the wicked one.

The wicked go astray as soon as they are born -sons of the devil are born to him when they receive his word in their hearts and act upon it.
