I'm pretty much deaf on one ear and HOH on the other, but I don't normally have a problem with it. But it helps working with deaf and otherwis disabled people. I learn to read lips better, not to mention the fact that it becomes impossible to feel sorry for oneself when you work with disabled people.
Born deaf
Diagnosed with Mulitple Sclerosis
Diabetes

Reason: correction
M.E/CFIDS
Fibro (I need to see my doctor to get the "official" diagnosis done, but I'm too ill to travel to see him.
Partially sighted (severe myopia and nystagmus)
hearing impaired
Diabetes (genetic form - Thanks mum!)
I have been completely confined to the house for over 4 years now due to the M.E and it thouroughly dictates what I can and cannot do.
I've been partially sighted from birth and hearing impaired since I was a toddler so neither bother me as I've never known any different.
Grade 1 spondilosis (broken back) Degenerative disc desease in neck. Both shoulders are blown out (can't pronounce all the stuff the doc told me) Torn maniscus in both knees. Arthritis in both feet and in the other joints I mentioned. ADD (where's my keys-lol)
