Translation: Believe whatever you want to about God and Souls and the like, but evolution does exist.
Godwin's law is something like "In any online debate involving religion, the science or atheism side will at some point be referred to as Nazis"

I like this one too: Benford's law of controversy, as established by science fiction author Gregory Benford in 1980Citation needed, states Passion is inversely proportional to the amount of real information available.

The fact that we exist show's nothing of a God. That is an illogical leap.

Most people don't have the kind of understanding to properly use such an analagy properly.

What 'scientific' idea did the Nazis use to justify their beleif in a Master Race?
<Buzzer Sound>
The answer was: Eugenics. A scientific priciple which was later debunked and replaced with a better one, just like Fascism.

Good to be appreciative. Remember it's not about you. Bad ideas should be shot down, even when presented by newbies.
Now that you know your first attempt was a no go, you know what pitfalls to avoid the next time you try.
And do try again. Even if you are never convinced of evolution, you will learn a lot about how to present a case for what you believe. Very handy for future reference.
