wondering from faith

hey everyone. i'm new to the faith. i sit here reading my bible and posts on verios messagesboards.   what i'm scard of is that i am going to stray from my new faith. i have even cried about that. i'm so scard because i'm the only christian in my family. i just don't know what i should do about it. please pray. i would love to hear from anyone who could help in anyway

I'm moving this to new christians..seems more approprate there...

Surround yourself with other Christians. Read your Bible.

Don't let your fear of straying cause you to stray after all. It's a self-fulfilling prophesy.

don't worry Ruby, God's looking after you!

i suggest you should get to know Him better through prayers and bible studies, esp as psysmajor said, surround yourself with Christians. Find a church and make some Christians friends.

I know the fear you are experiencing!!! The thing that helped me was finding a good church, then starting Bible study... everyday I started feeling stronger in my faith, and when I doubted it, I would go to my notes from Bible study!!! Also, I started listening to only Christian music.... I really like it, and I can sing to God all day long!!!!
