A scientific theory must be falsifiable. That is, there must be some future discovery, evidence or test that could falsify the theory.
Though I can't think of a scenario off the top of my head, there could be some evidence we find in the future that falsifies evolution. Saying the earth was populated at God's hand is not falsifiable because there is no scenario which would disprove it. You should be familiar with the popular retort, "You can't prove God doesn't exist."
This concept, by the way, is one reason why ID cannot be a scientific theory. |

There is another advantage to having such a long neck. The giraffe, with its head way up, can see a lion much farther away than the lion can see the giraffe, time to run!

Naturally laid fossil bed, with trilobites and hominids in the same strata. Seriously, kids, that's all it takes. You find that one time, evolution is either in HUGE trouble, or dead. |
