Jason Mraz???

Anyone listen to JAson Mraz? Remember "The Remedy" or "You and I both" from like two years ago? He had a new cd come out yesterday, and I love it already. Anyone heard it?

I love his music. His live stuff sounds great too. I used to be so addicted to his stuff. Play it over and over..

um.... i'm seeing him this summer open for dave matthews band. i have a few live recordings that are pretty good. but i have to say, i'm pretty dissapointed in his studio work.

i was excited to hear that his new album is produced by lillywhite, but i don't like his single "wordplay". to me, it seems like a re-hashing of his earlier success.

I agree; the live stuff is so much more..."mraz" sounding...what I expect when I am in the mood and pop in one of his cds. I go back and forth on 'wordplay' though. I didn't like it the first time, but now I love it. But I didn't start listening to him a lot until 'the remedy' came out, which i hated until i heard 'curbside prophet' which I fell in love with! So now I think i am becoming biased, lol, wanting to defend everything. even if I don't like it, just because I like most of his stuff so much.
The one thing about him though, I can expect to like new stuff that I hear...i love some of the meanings and, i guess you could call them jokes, that he keeps going in his music.
musicphan, I would give a good hunk of money to see him. couldn't afford a concert until the recent new job, and he hasn't since been in the area! jealous, I am.
I love geek in pink, plane, and esp. bella luna from the new cd.

yeah I dont like wordplay, but the rest of the album is quite good. Lillywhite did a good job I think!!

Although I have to agree, his live stuff is MUCH better then his studio stuff. Talk about a guy who can work a crowd!!
