Posting Questions!

Since I'm relatively computer illiterate I need to ask for assistance.

1.) How can I put a cute little picture thingy under my name on the sidebar area? Does anyone have a link to some choices?

2.) This is about posting on "Left Behind MB":
When I first registered there I was on my computer at
work and I never logged off (if you can, I can't
figure it out) I just X'd out. Now that I have a new
computer at home, I can't log on because it keeps
asking me to register but it said my name was taken
and I had to re-register. So I can post there at work
but not at home! Help!

3.) How do I change the font and colot within my posts? I
think I highlight and go to one of the things on my
toolbar but I don't know which one.

Sorry for all the idiotic questions but I don't know who else to ask. All of y'all have such cute things I just want to know how. Everyone else seems so computer savvy except me! (Waaaaah!)

Stacie, to get the picture under your name, you need to go to your control center and then click on your profile. There is a place for Personal Photo URL. Just put in the URL of the picture you want on there. You just need to make sure that the picture will be available to use on message boards. I know geocities does not.

Don't know about LBMB.

Most of the info for ezcodes is here. You should be able to change the color the same way by using color codes. You can find some colors here or here.

Thanks, onesheep! The colors are really cool but I still don't know how to get a shade from there (do I?) and make it appear here. Do I copy and paste something or type something after a sentence I want colored? Sorry I sound so ignorant but, hey, about this I am! I really appreciate you taking the time to help.

Oh, one more thing...when you said I should go to "my control center" and put in the URL of the pic I want in "personal photo", where can I get the URL? What do I search under to find clip art (or whatever you would call the moving pics) for my use here? I thought "personal photo" would be just that...a picture of me! Oh, wait...it can be any picture, right, but some people just use their own mugs! Duh!

I found the area in "my control center" so do I find a URL of a pic I want (where? I have no clue) and just copy and paste it there? Is that right? *sigh* This here larnin'capooter jargon iz 'bout makin'mah brain mushy lik smashed taters!

Okay, when I got that it was just a square with a red x on it....and that's the way it stays! I went to the RR board link, S_S, but I could only see your big pics and the rest were little boxes with red x's. How can I see what the boxes are supposed to be? I'm gonna try to test a real pic that I can actually see. I thought that if I did what you said it would magically turn into a picture! As usual, I was dead wrong! Back to the drawing board....
