I saw an article on a guy who collected credit cards. I don't remember how much available credit card credit he had, but I think it was in the millions.

i have a bunch of old football, baseball, and basketball cards hidden away somewhere. every few years, i look up card prices just to see where they are in value.

i have a very large collection, more than 700, of harry potter cards, from when i was younger, (when it first came out) and a huge collection of regular playing cards from around the world, i even have some from new zealand. i think about 200 decks... i know that's not alot to some people, but i'm getting there. (i read in the guiness book that a man had 15 thousand decks and counting, i'll make it someday!)

- My grandmother's brother had an old collection of baseball cards, dating from the 1920's and a few earlier. His son now has the collection.
- The best advice I can give about collecting cards is to have fun. Don't get caught up in the value of them.
- Try collecting areas that you like. For me it was wide receivers and quarterbacks.

I've got somewhere in the neighborhood of 300 postcards -- and still looking for more!
