This is our chance to answer that call. This is our moment. This is our time – to put our people back to work and open doors of opportunity for our kids; to restore prosperity and promote the cause of peace; to reclaim the American Dream and reaffirm that fundamental truth – that out of many, we are one; that while we breathe, we hope, and where we are met with cynicism, and doubt, and those who tell us that we can’t, we will respond with that timeless creed that sums up the spirit of a people:
Yes We Can. "

Hi everyone.... I'm running out the door but had to read through this thread.... kind of like old times eh jameseb? I feel like I stepped back into the old Newstand Cafe in happier times and I am cautiously waiting for tulc to walk in here with his supersoaker (ol' betsy) and douse everyone with it. *JD flashes to images of overturned tables and soaking CF'ers*
Anyway, I love it! It's easy to love our brothers and sisters with whom we agree... this is the real project right here... as it has been said, to see past the silly symbols that divide us from one another. So, thanks for the thread. I am looking forward to this one.
But it is a sunny Thursday morning here on the West Coast and I want to go for a walk before I have to sit down for the day.
Have a great day everyone.
P.S. Hi M.

Flags are bits of coloured cloth that governments use, first to shrinkwrap people's brains, and then as ceremonial shrouds to bury their dead. - Arundhati Roy
Now the numbers are 40 dead and over 350 wounded
Prayers going up for your country, CJ

Hey. This isn't the CF political forums I know and love. Where are the thinly veiled insults, and the dismissive comments?
Careful, you guys might start to see past the little Donkeys and Elephants... Aiiieee, then your politicians will have to find a new way to devide a conquer.
(And now that I think about it, where's Jameseb's Gary Sinese-looking avatar?)
Donkey's, Elephants, Where? oh no stampede.
