I have now also replaced the suitcase next to the icon corner with a small bookshelf where I have all my Orthodox books and the charcoal and other little things.

Reps: 10 (power: 0) | | | You might also want to look into getting some beeswax candles. I used to burn a olive oil vigil lamp, but my mother (non-Orthodox) was not big on letting it burn all the time.
I'm in the process of switching to beeswax candles, which don't burn as long but long enough to say my prayers, etc. Also, they are aromatic and work well when burning incense is a no-no. Alas, the perils of living in a non-Orthodox setting... |
