Are there any more barriers before health care reform becomes law?

Well...not to be a buzzkill, but there are two big barriers:
1. The U.S. Senate
2. The inevitable conference committee
but let's not think about that now. Let's just bask for a moment in this initial victory.

In the title, it is an adjective describing the Safe House, so the word should be Democratic. I realize there are a group of Republicans who childishly refuse to use that word to describe our party, but this is our safe house and it should be labelled correctly. I'd appreciate having that fixed.

It has nothing to do with republicans not using the name correctly.
Democratic also refers to the type of government structure that we have. It was best to use Democrat so as to note who would be using the safehouse. The name doesn't describe the safe house, but defines who is using it.
For instance, I don't say my grandpa is a democratic. He is a democrat.

I'm going to give you the benefit of the doubt and assume you don't know that for decades conservative politicians, most notably Joseph McCarthy, have used Democrat as an adjective as a means to verbally slam our party. It was a way to insert political insult into the language used about us. It's become popular again in recent years and you'll find it used throughout conservative radio and tv programming. I'm posting a couple of links below just for some history on this.
Given that this site is overwhelmingly politically conservative and that it gets pretty contentious around here, it is difficult for me to believe that the title of this thread, though not originally insulting (again, benefit of the doubt) doesn't make conservatives snickering with pleasure at seeing a daily slam against the Democratic Party used as a banner over the one place that's supposed free from that.
Again, I respectfully request that you change the title.

Reason: Fix phrasing. Rather like I'm asking the admin to do.

I realize that there are some conservatives who use the term in a derogatory manner. The title of this thread is not being used in that manner. It is simply denoting that this safe house is for Democrats.
