Definitely the last. How they receive it is key. It determines everything really.

Definately how they recieve the Word. The only way to properly do so, is by the Holy Spirit. So you must be born-again to fully understand scripture.

In the parable of the sower, we are taught that the Word of God is like seeds scattered in the ground. Where the seed lands depend on how the subsequent plants will grow. How can our lives flourish with the seeds sown in it?
