To "believe" means to live right. If you live right, you will reap the benifits. Just like there are "infideals" who do not live right, and they reap the consequences.

I attend a Pilgram church. I asked the pastor one day: why are there so many people in the church that are older and yet still in good health. He summed it up in one word: temperance.

Anyway,
So we have a report of a miracle and you unbelieving play-judges demand these folks to look you up, come into your play-courtroom, stand when your play-honor enters the room, and present serious life-changing facts to you. Maybe instead, you all should contact them. Don't they have private messenging on this forum? Have you even lifted a finger to try? You're playing games with God, you doubters. One day you'll wake up that this life is not a game. Was not a game?

What a curious response. When I ask for people who have evidence of God's actions on the earth to come forth, you first say this is too much effort and now resort to veiled threats. All the time dodging any of the issues. Your inability to respond to what I thought were very reasonable points wasn't very persuasive, but your threats have just about convinced me that you don't have a leg to stand on.

If you have any evidence instead of a list of exadgerations and unsubstantiated claims, and can discuss it reasonably without threats, I'll be happy to listen.

OK I'll make a harsh statement on this issue.

Perusing the thread Kenneth referenced on another board it seems to me people ascribe miracles to some everyday occurrences.

OR - and I believe this - many of the so called miracles are undocumented nonsense made up by ill educated folks who think anything is a testament to God. They wouldn't know a tumour from herpes. Some of theses folks also will flat out make this stuff up - that's called lying.

What is sad is the obvious gullibility of many people - ascribing everything out their limited experience as due to demons and miracles. YAWN!

Let me know when you have tried to contact the posters who have told us of their healings. Start with the most miraculous.

I've heard from enough people like this to think they are probably very nice, thoughtful, faithful people who misunderstand some basic science. Even when they come forward and offer up their claims, I feel bad asking them many questions because all of them have been through hard times. You don't get "cured" of MS without suffering the symptoms. In this case, they have shared their claims with believers and neither expected nor likely wanted anyone to challenge their beliefs. If they wish to privately hold a belief that God intervened directly to save them, I'm content to let them. You are the person coming forward with challenges, so I am talking to you.

I think you know the real answer about why God only "heals" some diseases and not others; why he heals in careful percentages which remain fixed for the disease and not the person; why he may require painful chemotherapy to heal some people and why he flat out refuses to help others. It is the same reason why no one has ever come up with any well documented cases of miraculous intervention.

This includes links to websites in profiles and signatures. This will include members entering inaccurate personal details in their profile in order to gain access to restricted forums. You will not post new threads for the sole purpose of soliciting requests for prophecies.

That's enough reason for me not to try to enlighten you. Have a good life. But watch out for the next step.
