| npetreley and 'imagination'
After claiming that scientists are dogmatically naturalistic in their pursuit of science, npetreley seems to have shifted tactics and is now claiming that evolution is based on imagination rather than fact. However, my understanding of his justification for this claim is muddled. For my clarification (and to prevent further misunderstandings among regulars here), I would appreciate it if npetreley would present his standards of 'fact,' 'theory,' 'hypothesis,' 'inference,' and 'imagination.' In other words, how does one differentiate between these?
To demonstrate these standards, it would be helpful if npetreley would quickly classify the following statements:
1) Micro-evolution has occured
2) Macro-evolution has occured
3) Mutations can generate information
4) The acceleration due to gravity on Earth is approximately 9.8 m/s^2
5) The Earth is roughly spherical
6) The Milky Way galaxy is approximately 30,000 parcecs across
7) Hitler invaded Poland in 1932
8) The American Civil War started in 1861
9) Dinosaurs went extinct approximatey 60 My ago
10) The Earth is at least 60 years old
11) The Earth is at least 6,000 yeards old
12) The Earth is at least 600,000 years old
