Fire symbolizes Spirit - The Renewing of the Holy Spirit - Baptism of Fire - Salted with Fire - Being born of Spirit - Rebirth

That is an interesting interpretation. One I have not heard before. Rather than in outline format, I would like to see more of your evidence/reasoning before the roof caves in on this topic, so to speak.

This is really interesting but there are a few things that don't quite fit...
And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone.
And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
The devil, the beast and the false prophet won't be baptized with water nor the Spirit. Neither those who aren't written in the Book of Life.
Or have I completely missed the point of this thread..??

So if this is true...then why bother becoming a Christian...since apparently everyone including satan and the demonic will enter into eternal bliss with God.

There is nothing symbolic about Hell. It is a place where non-believers will go to be eternally separated from God. I can not fathom being eternally separated from God. No joy, peace, love, kindness...etc., etc.
This is basically the belief of the Revelation of Thomas, which was rejected as unbiblical and uncanon b/c of this belief. You can't live your life as you want to just b/c you are saved in the end. Otherwise Christ's coming has no meaning.
