anyone ever just make up songs on the wiff?

i do that all the time i just never write em down but i spend weeks tryiong to perfect it in my head

I don't really like doing that because I forget a lot of good songs that way. I prefer carrying a mini recorder with me at all times.

Same with poets

I do at work. Songs like "I hate Retail" and "I loathe my job" and then I have a pop number called, "Why I love Saturday morning". The only problem with making up these songs is that as soon as I stop singing it... it leaves me to never return.

It's fun and all should try it. Just relax and let the words and rythms roll off your tongue.
