One like to think so, there seems to be a very slight amount of evidence for it, manily through quantum physics.
If we can continue to progress scientifically, why shouldn't we be able to travel between them if they exist? |

If by some miracle (no pun, Atheists), multiple universes could be proved, would that pose a problem for adherents to God? One could obviously bring up that already posed question (in a "uni"versal sense) that if we were God's special creation, why are there such expansive, unreachable universes? |

I'll jump in here with two standard cookie cutter responses that Ive seen time and again-
1- Because God creates all the time
and/or
2- To declare His Glory

Not for this one., who also believes that we aren't God's only special creation...probably the most special thng about earth, is that we got to have the Son of God live among us for 33 years...
And why should they be unreachable? |

We could all become Mormons and believe each universe was created by an Adam who achieved divinity.

There is "evidence" for the Multiverse Interpretation of QM, but perhaps that evidence will be able to be explained by another Interpretation in the future. Currently Everett's Multiverse Interpretation is the only explanation for the results of the century old Two Slit Experiment that maintains causality. So if one assumes causality is important, one is left with no alternatives. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
