Mmmmmm...

My favorite is tomato and cheddar cheese sandwich.

Cut thick slices from a block of cheese and thick slices of tomato. Add salt and pepper and go straight to heaven! lol

I love fresh, homegrown tomatoes. They are sweeter (being vine-ripened), and better tasting than store bought.

I live in an apartment and have only a small space in which I can garden. Last year I planted patio tomatoes in large pots from seeds sold by Burpee. The plants were prolific. The tomatoes are a little larger than cherry tomatoes, firm and sweet.

Hint: If you plant these, don't pinch off any shoots the way you would on standard tomatoes.

I'm trying something new this year. I got some seeds for a type of cherry tomato called "Balcony." They're bred specifically for hanging baskets. I'm still going to grow my old ground planted favorites, but these sound kinda fun to grow too.

Me and my family love beefsteak tomatoes, and pear tomatoes, go great on a sandwich. We usually plant them in our homemade soil and water often.
