Most of it comes by past hurts. Deep hurts which can take a long time to heal. But, with Faith and courage, they too can be healed.

Yes, it does take a lot of hard work to accomplish. Been there, done that -- years ago. Thank God it's lasting!!
Coming from a very abusive past (alcohol and drugs and even diagnosis of manic depression, hospitalized 5 times for it), I know how much work it took for me to forgive all my abusers. God indeed can and will heal all of our inner issues, if He is sought. But, it does take a very long time to work through all these issues, and it is work!!
With love,

I believe that is why there are so many diagnosis in the world today. I have had chronic back pain for over 2 years now. The reading that I have been doing says that most chronic pain is due to repressed anger and other emotions such as worry. I read a book by John E Sarno called The Mindbody Prescription, which is an excellent book, which has helped me get rid of most of my chronic pain. I also read a book by a christian author called Deadly Emotions by Don Colbert, which states how important emotions and forgiveness are to our health. I am very curious to see what you have to say X. |

Reps: 277,534 (power: 286) | | this is easier said than done. most cannot accomplish real 100%forgiveness.something I have an issue with myself.May pick up this book as I know holding inner anger in against someone leads to bigger fish to fry. |

Reps: 217 (power: 0) | | | There is a book called "Power Healing" by John Wimber that has some good information on this topic. There is also a book by Francis MacNutt called "Healing" which presents a very balanced veiw on the whole topic. It is the main text book for a course in Healing Prayer that I am taking. This is an area of ministry that has to be done very carefully and not without some instruction in safe ways to proceed. |
