~Logitech quickcam~

Hey, well... I have a logitech quickcam. It was working fine. I didn't install any software, just plugged it in, and it worked. Until... just awhile ago... and it didn't work. I hadn't done anything to it. But it gives me the "check connection and make sure other software isn't using it" thing. And I've been to some websites about it, and that seems to happen a lot...
Any advice? I've already tried restarting... bla bla... deleting everything, and starting over... nothing has worked yet.
Thank you in advance.

I don't really have any advice but I really don't like the logitech camera. I have one for school (online) but it freezes up a lot and it just doesn't work as well as I would have hoped.

"Deleting everything?" Did you use a proper uninstaller, or did you just go through your hard drive and delete stuff? If it was the latter, the program isn't really gone. Go to Add/Remove programs in Control Panel and remove the Logitech software that way. Then reinstall. You can also go to their website and see if there are new drivers to download.

Have you installed any other programs lately? Do you know if Service Pack 2 has been installed on your computer recently?

Wow.. emm... I just went through and deleted it. I didn't install any software to begin with, so there wasn't much to delete.
I don't know what to do about downloading the drivers on their site.. I am computer stupid! heh
