It just varies. It is individuals in some places, whole Corps in others. But it is one of the reasons why God is refreshing the Army with lots of first generationers who don't know any better!

First they came for the Jews
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Communists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a Communist.
Then they came for the trade unionists
and I did not speak out
because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for me and there was no one left
to speak out for me.

I really wanna read some more Army history, it might come in handy if someone ever tells me "it's not Army"! But then again, my dad was Army (British Military that is), he always reckoned guerilla tactics work best

Elm0 - if you ever have insomnia at the same time as a thirst for Army history, I seem to recall reading a book on the history of the Army by General George Coutts. From what I remember of it, it would sort out the history and the insomnia.
On the subject of books, if anyone wants a real insight into Booth's vision for the Army then get hold of a copy of his book 'In darkest England and the way out'. And if anyone does find a copy, please post on here were they got it as I would like another copy (managed to lose mine).
