Please pray for me as well, as I am in the process of having my priestly orders received by CANA/Anglican Church North America.

Amen. "Thus abundantly hath the Church of England vindicated her reformation from all pretence of apostasy from the true, ancient Catholic and Apostolic Church...No new Church was set up; no new articles of faith brought in; no new Sacraments; no new order of Priesthood to minister in holy things... only the old were purged from impurities in doctrine, worship and practice. If we were the Catholic Church before, we are still so, and to better purpose." William Cave, The Unity of the Catholic Church maintained in the Church of England |

After discussing this with a Priest, I am contemplating setting Chaplaincy education to my goals. The problem is, I have been told requirements vary based on the organization that hires the Chaplain and there appears (after surfing the net for quite a while) there are no opportunities for a Chaplaincy in this area.
Are these positions mostly in the "hidden" job market, and only people affiliated with that organization are aware of openings? Anything else anyone can think of would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don't know about homeless chaplaincy. I can imagine that it really is a case by case situation regarding requirements.
The trouble with chaplaincy is that people don't know how to classify it, sometimes it is 'nonprofit' and others it is 'counseling'.

The process to transfer my orders is complete, and I had the humbling honor of celebrating the Eucharist for the first time in four years this past Sunday.
