Jesus didn't die for the fallen angels - He died for humankind. God made us unique from all other creation and we are the only species on earth and beyond it that is redeemable. Jesus did not turn into an angel to die for Satan's and the fallen ones' sins and He did not become any other creature - He became a man. For some unfathomable reason, God loves humans in a different way than His other creations and was willing to send Jesus to save us specifically.
Also, the Bible is very clear about Satan and his followers' fate. If there were a remote chance of redemption for the fallen angels, wouldn't it be accounted for in Scripture?

The lack of mention of it in the Bible doesn't mean God would not take Satan back if he repented...it can just as easily mean Satan will never repent. I can talk about what would happen if the moon crashed into the Earth tomorrow and still understand that it won't happen. I believe God is infinate in his wisdom and in his mercy. There's another very good reason why it mught not be in the Bible: It's none of our business. It's not our place to know if God would forgive Satan. I can only believe it is so and go from there. |

Angels and mankind have been created differently
Both have the ability to sin but only man has the right to
There is no redemption for angels. Their fate has already been sealed.
Those that have fallen are dispised of God and there is NO redemption offered. We also must take God's heart on this matter and abhor not only the sin nature which they proliferate but also the messanger itself.

He has made his decision and it applies for the eternity in which it was conceived and, of course, no salvation plan was initiated by God for him since Satan's doom was certain and therefore giving him the opportunity of reform would be futile.
Then again if Satan did repent (which is impossible) I reckon God would forgive him. Thought provoking question though. |

Reps: 12 (power: 0) | | | I think God will not take him back. The bible makes that pretty clear that his judgement is set. Angels were made to serve God directly and Satan somehow messed that up badly. He got kicked out of the place where some of us are trying to go. |

Reps: 1,410 (power: 14) | | When I was younger (middle school) I asked this question of all the people at the youth staff. I was seriously curious. But no one took me seriously and thought I was just a trouble maker.
Well, I'm really glad to see this question here, and that the votes are pretty close to 50/50!
Well, in middle school, I really thought God would take Satan back. I mean - with all teh "Love your neighbor", "Forgive and forget", etc going on, why would God be any different?
The point is - and it has been metioned before, angel aren't people. We were created differently. Psalm 8:5 says man is created just a little lower than the heavenly beings. One could infer angels know more than people, which would lead to better discernment between right and wrong. Immediately this implies angel are held to different standards than men.
I thought about it further after reading some posts here and thought of John 3:16... "For God so loved the world...". I looked that up and the word "world" in the Greek is kosmos [ Strongs: 2889] Well, kosmos means "the ungodly multitude". kosmos does not include heavely beings.
Between those two points, I can confidently say I do not believe God would accept repentance from a fallen angel, much less Satan.

Reps: 55 (power: 0) | | | The following scriptures show that judgement has allready been passed on satan and his angels.
2Pe 2
3 And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise of you: whose judgment now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not. 4 For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment; 5 And spared not the old world, but saved Noah the eighth person, a preacher of righteousness, bringing in the flood upon the world of the ungodly; 6 And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly
Mt 25:41 -
Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
