Situation in my life

I am struggling with an issue in my life right now. It deals with a bad decision that I made and how that situation has turned out. I have in the last week developed resentment towards the other person and a desire to never have contact with this person again because of the situation the two of us were in and the people that were hurt because of it. I, myself, have been hurt a great deal all ready by the situation, as well as all who know about the situation.

Please pray that I will sometime in the near future, suppress or even get rid of the desire to never have contact with this person again because that is not the Christian way to act. Please also pray that I will be able to experience a peace about the situation sometime down the road when the situation "dies down".

Jesus, I pray to you to please be with Lighthouse in her time of need, please give her the strength to deal with her situation. In your name I pray,

Heavenly Father, I pray for Lighthouse, that she may turn her burden over to you, Lord. Fill her spirit full of love overflowing that she cannot but help pass that love on. Amen.

Lighthouse - Remember, hating or feeling negative towards others is only really hurting yourself. Don't let others have that much power over you - let only your Saviour have the power to change your moods and ideals.
Well done on admitting you have made a bad decision - there are lots that would not even admit this. Turn your burden over to the Lord, he will lift it off from you.
Prayer and time will heal this discomfort and you will be a wiser person from it.
The Lord obviously has some lessons for you and if you listen and learn, you can become all that the wants you to be.
Oh, and from experience, the longer you leave it, the harder it will be to contact the person.

Thank you all for your prayers. I am getting better each day. And since there is no contact with this person in almost a week, that has helped me get used to not being around this person and not make me want to be around them either. I know this will get better with time as well.

I have not been resentful towards this person today and that is a start. I know that with any situation, only time will help.
