Wind is great too, until it starts tearing pieces off of the house... |

Reps: 49,326,359 (power: 49,340) | | I love thunderstorms too. I love watching documentaries on storms etc except it is sad to see the destruction and loss of life. It must be so scary to be around when a cyclone or tornado hits but I can't help but be curious and would love to see one. I love sitting out on the verandah when a storm hits. I love watching the lightning, the pouring rain and the wind. I do sometimes get scared when it gets really bad but there is still a bit of me that loves it. I love being outside when a storm is building. You can feel it in the air, the air is quite warm and then the temperature will suddenly drop. Watching the clouds build up overhead. In summer in Sydney, Australia, we normally get storms after a really hot day but this past summer the number of storms that have hit have greatly reduced I really missed them. We also badly need the rain.

Reps: 254 (power: 0) | | | I remember when I was younger, I'd lay on the floor in my parent's bedroom because I was scared. Now, like a few of you, I love curling up in bed with a good book during storms. It also makes me appreciate that I have a roof over my head. I've had some interesting camping trips. I'm talking mud slides, leaky tents and wet clothes. Wugh! Good times, though. Good times! |

If your home is down and trees are all over and people are in shock, you would get used to not liking the storms. Tornadoes are the worst. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode | | | |
