Except seven-round tiddlywinks competitions against ballet-dancing chipmunks. It's our one weakness. But other than that, we're solid.
Besides, the chipmunks don't dance so well with a sword up their ******.

Interesting. So exactly how do, say, anti-depressants work then? If a person's emotions are seperate from their brain, obviously such drugs would have to work on something besides the brain.
(edit: After reading more of the thread, I'm pretty sure you are trolling so no need to reply to this. ilwjc --> ignore list --> profit!)
I can't find where to put people on my ignore list! These forums are modded beyond my knowledge. Help! I can't escape bevets!

Not one person here explained how the brain came first.
Because, dear fellow posters, it could not have.
God bless you all.
The brain developed like all other organisms, from less complex to more complex. Somewhere instincts developed. I'm not an expert in the field of brain evolution but it doesn't seem that hard a task.

I think he has been here. But he travels a lot to teach and evangelize in different churchs, so for the most part, he does not have time to spend on a forum like this. He would not consider it a worthwhile investment of his time.
Actually, it's because he knows that lucaspa would have a field day with him.

The mind is the brain? No. The brain encases the mind, but it is not the mind itself.
Say a person is brain dead. The person or soul or mind is gone. The brain is still there.
If the brain and the mind were one and the same, why does the mind disappear in death, yet the brain is still quite real and visible?
They are not the same thing.

I take it you don't have the answer.
When a person dies, the brain is still there, but the mind or consciousness is gone. Disappeared.
If the brain and the mind or consciousness were one and the same, the brain would disappear also at death.
They are clearly two different and seperate things.

Not possible for brain and mind to appear at once since baby knows nothing, must be taught.
Therefore by your own admission... brain without mind. Please though, don't simply say that we know what a mind is- you need to define it. Do you mean our memories, our personality? If so, it's fairly easy to prove that those are dependent on the physical brain and we lose them without it. As to death... when you die, the brain stops working, just as the heart stops pumping blood. That doesn't make the heart or brain actually disappear though.

Makes me wonder: what was first: the heart or the beat?
How would a heart go looking for a beat?
So the beat was first, and the heart was made to contain the beat.

Yeah, he may actually learn something....Plus there is no money to be made here from the ignorant masses that he is used to dealing with.
