Reps: 5,365 (power: 27) | | Im thinking that someone needs to lay off the pills for a little bit.
I'm sorry to say but I could Sooo see this as a stoner conversation transcript, although I think talking pills might take stronger drugs than just pot, I guess it all depends.

Reps: 7,339 (power: 21) | | How could the mind be an offshoot of the brain?
I take it you think the brain is capable of thinking without the mind thus it knows it needs a mind without a mind?
Not logical or possible.
I assume that the mind is the brain's conscious decision making process. If you see the mind as something else, then you need to clarify as to what it is. If we cannot agree on a definition of "mind", then discussing it is not sensible. I am willing to model the brain and what you call the "mind" as a conscious decision making process which is a part of the brain in terms of naturalistic evolution so as there to be a coherent way that brains can evolve and eventually give rise to minds if you promise me you will read it.

I think he has been here. But he travels a lot to teach and evangelize in different churchs, so for the most part, he does not have time to spend on a forum like this. He would not consider it a worthwhile investment of his time. |
