My house looks more like a church with statues and even a Holy Water font at the door--crucifixes in EVERY room, a St. Benedict medal OVER the entrance to the front door (as well as AMDG written in chalk.) Speaking of that, at the entrance of each bedroom is the yearly "blessing of the Three Kings". No one can even knock on my front door without passing my Mary Garden which contains numerous plants named for Mary and her attributes. My shelves are full of religious books and several translations of Bibles. My television is set to EWTN, and my radio to Sacred Heart Radio. There are Rosaries all over my house--some even on walls. I sleep with a Rosary wrapped around my wrist (holding the crucifix in my hand) and sometimes I actually DO jingle when I walk from the religious medals--a scapular medal and Miraculous Medal to be exact. And I carry a "In case of danger of death, please call a priest" card with me as well as numerous Holy Cards. I also give out Miraculous Medals and make mission Rosaries. At the present, ANYONE would have a hard time thinking (much less proving) that I WASN'T Catholic. It seems to be a "given". And yet in the future...under the circumstances mentioned, I pray that God would continue to keep me in His grace, because I fear that I'm only human. |

Still having trouble understanding each and everything, but I'm learning. RCIA begins in august for me, and I can't wait.
