To repeat, he never claimed to be the Messiah. In his teachings you will find that he had a great expectation, witing on the arrival of the Messiah. There were some around him who claimed that he was Messiah, but a majority did not make that claim. I love to read his wisdom and teachings...

It seems that I read that a fertility rite was to boil a kid (baby goat) in it's mothers milk, then burn until ashes. And then spread the ashes over the crops in hopes of a good harvest. Bruce
