The mark, the number, the name

Yes Peter failed but he had not yet received the Holy Spirit. I believe that those who are in Jesus will be given the strength to overcome and will be able to look cruel death in the face and embrace it. Of course, I still believe that these are only believers who embrace Christ after the...

How does satan make you do bad things?

Couple of problems with your post but not big issues so I will only address one. Christians do not think that righteous people go to Heaven. None are righteous and all fall short of the glory of God. We know that only those who have accepted Jesus Christ will see the Father. This is a gift to...

Should Children Partake Of The Communion?

Absolutely. It is very important that they understand the meaning and signifigance of the Communion. It should not be bread and juice but a real experience for them too.

Should Children Partake Of The Communion?

If they have been taught correctly and they believe in Jesus then yes, they should be allowed the communion. My daughter partook with me on New Years Day. What a wonderful way to bring in the new year.

    The Bird in Hand Wager

A life lived in the light of Jesus is a life lived fully. If we keep our eye on Him, we will do what is pleasing to Him and yes, there is a reward of eternal life waiting all those who are His.

How does satan make you do bad things?

Well, I keep reading you saying this but I have yet to see any evidence. I still stand that it must mean you don't know about your own religion. Thanks.

How does satan make you do bad things?

The catechism of the catholic church will only tell you what catholics believe and not give you a detailed idea of what all of Christendom is about. There are many sources. Might want to check out Foxes book of martyrs to see how strongly people believe in what we believe.

The mark, the number, the name

We won't be able to do anything to prevent the things to come from actually occuring. They are set in stone. Personally, I am with you. Why would we want to. I don't think this is what he was saying though. He was asking what we should do with the information we have. I say shout it from the...

The mark, the number, the name

Well, I don't believe that we will be here but at the wedding feast. That's okay though. If you are right hopefully we can get a guillotine next to eachother and praise God together.

The mark, the number, the name

Personally, the only thing I see us as needing to do is to preach the Good News and to look up because our redemption draws nigh. I am not looking for the man of sin. I am looking for Jesus. I just want to let others who don't have the assurance of salvation what is coming and that they can...

    More LDS "Interpretation"

    More LDS "Interpretation"

That is because they are being given a little longer to actually accept the truth and abandon mormonism. ;)

Mormon family life: Can any of you guys help me out here?

Yes, leaving God completely is not going to leave one in a good moral state. It is different though when one says "left mormonism" then what you are saying. I would not make such a statement if one left my particular Church.

Mormon family life: Can any of you guys help me out here?

So you are not going to answer my question? Regardless of where I cut the quote off (which was not intentional at all) it still appears that you are saying that ex-mo's are more likely to commit such acts then current ones. Seems there is plenty of this kind of thing and worse going on within...

The Kingdom of Heaven has been here since 70 AD

You know, I have given this same thing several times. I have tried to point out that this is something that really does not even matter and should not be put forth on a board where the world sees it as it looks like the Body is divided. I was met with much slap to the face by hidden manna each...

Should Harry Potter be used in the classroom?

You have no idea what I did or did not see in these books to come to this conclusion. I know that at your age you think you know it all but it really isn't true.

Should Harry Potter be used in the classroom?

You are right that I have not read the books all the way. I have though, looked into them far enough to come to the conclusions I have. I have also spoken with respected leaders and Christians who have looked further into them then I and discussed the outcome with them. I will not read any of...

Mormon family life: Can any of you guys help me out here?

Am I misunderstanding you here? Are you saying that ex-mormons are more likely to act in this manner?
