{MOVED} I am concerned that I will be bored in Heaven.

I figure I'm going to be way too busy in Heaven to even think of any of those things. If anything, I'm going to be talking a lot! I'd be wanting to hear stories and testimonies from all the people up there, and there will be billions of them, all with their unique story. Of course worshiping and...

Circumcision Poll, To Snip or Not to Snip

I voted two ways. First, no, the boy should decide when he comes of age. I believe that part of the body is something between him and God only, unless, and here is my second vote. Yes, for medical reasons. In America, where I live, there really isn't much of a medical reason for circumcision...

    Last days

I think at any era since the times of Christ there has been evidence of this. The thing is, in this era, the evidence is increasing before our eyes. No longer is it that we see poeple like this over here or over there, today you see this everywhere. As technology grows and increases and makes...

    the Old Days at CF

Hi guys! I finally decided to search out this forum once more and post. I'm glad to see two of my favorite posters still active here, and both of you had blessed me so much when I used to be active here, that was like 10 ten years ago since I last posted! I learned so much back then and both of...

In your opinion, why is Christianity the one true faith instead of Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, etc.?

Put simply, the written evidence of Prophecies made and then prophecies fulfilled. If it wasn't for the prophecies made of the coming Christ it would be real hard to intellectually consider Jesus of Nazereth as the Son of God. Because of the fulfilled prophecies you also have to consider what He...

Why do Christians have trouble with accepting Evolution?

Right, the word is history, not earthstory. To a certain extent, the gap theory does fit in with what science has showed us but because there is little word in the Bible on what happend to the earth before God created man, there really is no way to test what science shows and what the gap...

    .

I couldn't vote for any of the options you gave. Although I believe it is very beneficial to the believer to belong to and attend a church, I don't believe the believer must be a member of a church or congregation, or that they must attend one. However, I would never say that all who belong to...

Being a Christian vs being Christ-like

I think I disagree with you if I understand you correctly. First, I do agree that there are 'bad christians', God will judge them and reward them accordingly, like we all, and still will win the race towards salvation. where I disagree is what you're saying on how a christian will or will not...

Why do Christians have trouble with accepting Evolution?

I don't think you understand what AGTG was saying. HE/she was not professing the Bible as a geophysical or scientific witness but mearly pointing out that if the Bible states a certainty, such as, God created animals after their own kind, then that is what can be believed as a fact, a certainty.

Why do Christians have trouble with accepting Evolution?

I would say that the theory is probably the most tested, by far. Whether it's the best explanation, I agree with you.

Being a Christian vs being Christ-like

Well it all depends on what our definition is of what a true christian means doesn't it? If your definition of being a true christian is limited to mean that the person truely believes in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, then all that person has to do is confess him as such. If you add multiple...

Being a Christian vs being Christ-like

Being a christian is about talking the talk, being Christ like is about walking the walk.

Why do Christians have trouble with accepting Evolution?

Evolution is something that I just haven't been convinced as being valid. I 100% agree with micro evolution but not macro evolution. As for what the bible says; the Bible is not a science book, it never tells us how God created and made things, just that He did do it. However, I do believe the...

Why do people believe in a Rapture?

Rapture is a theological term used much the sameway as in Trinity. The Trinity is not a word you will ever find in the Bible but it is an escential teaching within the Church. Are you saying we can't believe in the Trinity, God in three persons, because the word is never written in the Bible? It...

Racism: Where are you on and where do you think the USA is on this.

I completely agree with this. The word is slung around so often it's hard to figure out if the word even means the samething it did decades ago. Mainly because it seems to be used more as an insult. Also, and much to my dismay, the word seems to also be used as a cop-out. A good illustration of...

Racism: Where are you on and where do you think the USA is on this.

 Amen, you're sure right about that. [SIZE=3]Ok but I think our society, the culture, mainly looks down upon those who jugde others according to how they look. To be accused of being a racist now days is something I think most everyone sees as a very bad thing. Back in the 60's and...

Racism: Where are you on and where do you think the USA is on this.

I agree with both of these responses, especially when The Outlier says he believes the media is more to blame, and that does anger me. I just think it's such a shame and makes me sad when I see black people being interviewed saying how they believe racism is still a major problem for them. How...

Racism: Where are you on and where do you think the USA is on this.

As christians we have to get involved in this. This is starting to get out of hand IMHO. Just to get this conversation started let me begin by saying I personally think that we as a society have come a long way since the 1960's civil rights movement. We are a much more tolerant society. I still...

Racism: Where are you on and where do you think the USA is on this.

The question of the title thread of course isn't about whether you're for it or not but I'm seeking answers as to what people are thinking about the recent racial tensions in the USA in the last year. And because I messed up the thread title so bad, what I'm asking is if this is something that...
