What do liberals* expect from conservatives?

I suppose that's accurate to a degree. This thread though shows that's a hard row to hoe.

Why gays, lesbians, transgendered, and others are born

Maybe even all, by definition...and depending upon who the homosexual doing the tempting is a lot of homosexuals won't be tempted one iota. Just like some heterosexual men are "tempted" by Lady Gaga, but she doesn't do anything so some of them who would find a woman like Mo'nique more attractive.

Why gays, lesbians, transgendered, and others are born

If that is meant to classify liberals as akin to thieves and murderers, the writer certainly fails in exercising reason and the concept a person who does this could possess "righteousness" in any form renders the concept of "righteousness" as so used utterly useless.

Pat Buchanan suggests: Too many Jews on U.S. Supreme Court bench

Try? President Clinton was as President a conservative Democrat and quite to the right of Presidents Nixon and Ford. He was the titular head of the Democratic Leadership Council, the organization of conservatives within the Democratic Party. Like President Kennedy he was called "liberal" but...

Pat Buchanan suggests: Too many Jews on U.S. Supreme Court bench

I read it. The concept is reprehensible. The idea that there could somehow be too many Jews on the Supreme Court is antisemitism at face value.

Pat Buchanan suggests: Too many Jews on U.S. Supreme Court bench

I believe these are attacks on Jews. The Jewish-American community is slurred by such remarks. In advocating for Israel, Jews commit no particular wrong, no more than Turkish-Americans who advocate for Turkey.

Of course not. But one way or another the truth comes out.

Pat Buchanan suggests: Too many Jews on U.S. Supreme Court bench

It's not mere remarks that are on the record; for the record I am quite critical of Likud governments in Israel and recognize that to express same is NOT antisemitism in any form. However, Buchanan's involvement with the bogus hunt for the "Jewish Cabal" in the Bureau of Labor Statistics in...

What do liberals* expect from conservatives?

Conversely a huge number of universalists and/or secularists are quite conservative. The assertion there is no difference between such complex ideas implies a significant lack of knowledge of all the concepts so described.

I'm bold and not easily cowed by bullying. Your point?

Pat Buchanan suggests: Too many Jews on U.S. Supreme Court bench

Do you have a source for that? I've not heard it. Actually it was a conservative, the late Republican Senator from Nebraska Roman Hruska, who argued for President Nixon's nomination of Harold Carswell with the comment mediocre people needed representation on the Supreme Court.

Pat Buchanan suggests: Too many Jews on U.S. Supreme Court bench

He has a long history of antisemitic comments and anti-Israeli comments. That's a matter of record.

What do liberals* expect from conservatives?

Perhaps "marketplace of ideas" is more accurate.
