Was God's choosing Israel an act of aparteid...

The word Apartheid has negative connotations of injustices based on racism as practiced under the South African white dominated government. . The separation of Israel as a special people had nothing to do with the inherent superiority of any one race over any other race. It was a choosing that...

Was God's choosing Israel an act of aparteid...

The Genesis promise of a seed that would bring salvation to mankind is the biblical theme. We are told through which human line that seed would arrive. Through Noah, Shem, Abraham, Jacob, Judah, King David. Meanwhile, we were provided with an example of how futile it is to seek redemption from...

A year alone on Mars? For how much money?

True! It definitely fascinating to be there and see for oneself how Mars looks. Yet, after all this time, I still would not accept the offer. I guess I simply have this overactive imagination what would wreak havoc with my nerves every time I heard or saw something that I could not readily...

Eye's on the New Horizons and the Kuiper Belt

The persons I responded to on post 303, and 307, speak as if being a flat-Earther is typical of all persons who believe in a creator. Just trying to clarify. BTW New Horizons spacecraft is now 4.1 billion miles (6.6 billion kilometers) from Earth speeding deeper into the Kuiper Belt at nearly...

Eye's on the New Horizons and the Kuiper Belt

Most creationists are not flat-earthers. In fact, you don't even have to believe in God to be a flat-earther. Many are just convinced by the evidence for a flat earth that flat-earthers provide and couldn't care less about religion. For example, some pilots claim that they don't have to...

Eye's on the New Horizons and the Kuiper Belt

Exceeding escape-velocity would be my greatest concern while being on the surface. Would fear that the slightest twitch of my torso or unintended flick of a foot might send me sailing kicking and screaming straight into the wide black yonder.

The Aliens are going to laugh at earth cosmologists explaining 13.8 billion years from creation.

So people living on Earth would be aging slower than those on Pluto because Earth travels faster relative to the sun than Pluto does?

Theory on the origin of evil

That is another type of reproduction, causing people to behave in a similar way that we do. That's why Jesus called liars the children of Satan, because they immitated him. About angels not being able to materialize human bodies as they did at Sodom, and other instances, I gues we disagree on...

Theory on the origin of evil

So God crucifying himself and being angry with himself is the issue? That God is both cause and purpose of his own plan? These are concepts that are extremely hard to conceive and dismissifg them by calling them a mystery doesn't solve the condundrum. IMHO

Theory on the origin of evil

I was thinking the same thing. It is best to terminate useless, time-wasting activities. True, dishonesty is a factor that obstructs conversation as is strawman. But I think that namecalling beats both.

Theory on the origin of evil

I am not twisting anything at all, I am merely taking things to their logical conclusion and showing how those conclusions don't harmonize with the Bible but go completely contrary to it. Agreeing with you would require that I accept that God has no control over what comes into existence...

Theory on the origin of evil

Did you actually read the OP? My theory does not state that God "created evil". It states that evil came into existence as a reaction to God creating. And evil's presence is limited to the creation. It is not equal to God. Then you go posting it on a blog, in which you twist what someone else...
