    Old money in alcohol

ALL alcohol should be drunk in strict moderation. If the accounts of the drinking habits of Jesus are anything to go by, he obviously enjoyed his wine, ensuring it didn't run out at the wedding, and made it part of the sacrament!

Is it Biblically wrong for my wife and I to move away from the in laws?

I couldn't stand my in-laws, and we lived a good distance from them. My husband didn't like his parents much either. No one should have to put up with relatives they dislike, imo.

Do you agree that if you get pregnant, you are morally responsible?

Along with the guy with whom she had sex.

    Own up!

Are you prepared to list your faults and failings? I am almost perfect (Whoops, a million, or more, pigs have just flown passed the window! ) Here is my list as I perceive them. 1. I can talk for the universe and beyond. 2. I am not as patient as I should be with my husband now he is brain...

(moved) Why I challenge some versions of Christianity

I think that is horribly yucky concept!

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

I think Jesus probably existed, but I don't think that what was claimed about him was credible.

(moved) Why I challenge some versions of Christianity

I realise some people think I am a troll, but that is not my intention. Here is my story. I was born to parents who attended a Pentecostal church where Sunday after Sunday the 'you must be 'saved' or burn in hell' version of Christianity was preached! My paternal grandmother had beaten...

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

Because no one has produced 'evidence' that cannot be explained in a none supernatural way.

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

The Bible is no sort of evidence whatsoever, people interpret that book in all sort of crazy ways. I am of the opinion the writers of the gospels created the stories surrounding Jesus to fit in with so called prophecies from the OT!

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

The so called 'evidence' which has been presented is not verifiable in any shape or form!

    Interesting New Years

I think people who drink a lot are crazy, a hangover must be most unpleasant, apart from the damage it does to one's liver! I can honestly say I have never been drunk in my life. I enjoy alcohol in strict moderation.

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

If something isn't credible which much of the Bible doesn't appear to be, it is for the people claiming it is true to put up the evidence to support their belief, which they are unable to do.

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

That is your belief to which you are entitled, but it is only a belief with not the slightest bit of evidence to substantiate it.

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

When the deity is willing to prove to the whole world, in a totally undeniable way that he exists then I will believe. But that is highly unlikely to happen, making belief a matter of faith is very hit and miss.

    Is denying God moral? (Atheists)

Surely it would be hypocritical to pretend a deity exists if you don't believe it does. I am of the opinion that whilst it is just possible a god of some kind could exist in another dimension, all gods worshipped by humans are their creations.

(MOVED) Where was God/Jesus when I needed them?

Well we will have to agree to differ on this topic, no problem.

Is there anyone here happily married?

We have been married for 47 years this coming year. Funnily enough we have very little in common apart from our children and grandchildren, and I am not really sure why we got together when we were teenagers. We don't share the same interests and have always done our own thing, but it has worked...

Why is 27 too young to have a baby?

I was 19 when I married and had my first birth child at 20, and two more by the time I was 26. We went on to adopt two more with special educational needs.
