Tired of Windows 10? Want a good OS? Here is how.

My first response [X]. I stated I personally have never had luck with Mint Cinnamon and wouldn't recommend it. I suggested Mint XFCE or Ubuntu MATE, or even Mint KDE (which at the time I was running). I didn't say go get a Mac. I also pointed out that if you require MS Office or Photoshop...

    Top Trumps

Hasn't Trump had multiple bankruptcies though? I wouldn't trust him any more than Clinton to be competent with regards to finances.

    Top Trumps

Of course because clearly you must be educated to have the government dictate and run everything :/ Curse those uneducated people for not wanting the government involved in their day-to-day lives.

Tired of Windows 10? Want a good OS? Here is how.

I did and actually made a comment on there a month ago. It was in no way enlightening then and isn't now. I get it, you have a thing against Apple. I've encountered plenty of people who are religious about hating Apple (most of whom have never actually even owned or used their products). It...

Tired of Windows 10? Want a good OS? Here is how.

Nope, it's been the best system I've used yet. I haven't encountered any bugs and all systems have vulnerabilities (and please don't act as if linux doesn't have any). Honestly Linux fanboys are the reason I often avoid talking linux on the internet.

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Then perhaps we should just have every boomer walk around like this from now on... Or just white guilt liberals of any age? Buy hey, lets continue to believe that every boomer should feel guilty...So glad I know the boomers I do who can be against racism (both then and now) and still have not...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

No, we don't know. It's yet again assuming that black people would simply want to be white. I mean if we're all suppose to believe that being white is the best thing since sliced bread, then why (according to you) do so many black people want to be saddled with living with such constant guilt...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Then you should perhaps ask everyone, rather than limiting the question to just white people. Even you say it's "questionable" because you are just assuming black people would rather be white. You claim that boomers are the issue. I'm not a boomer. I'm part of the generation you claim will...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

It's also fair to ask people of any race which they'd prefer to be born into. The vast majority wouldn't change. Otherwise this question amounts to race baiting knowing that next to no one (of any race) would wish to change. Although I could see how well spoken and law abiding black people would...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Why ask this question to only white people? Are you suggesting a black person would automatically want to be white? Or are you worried that you'd discover that non-white people would actually still choose the race they are? Ah how comforting to know we'll be led by a bunch of white guilters who...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

I have seen plenty that say otherwise, many from black people themselves. White privilege just doesn't exist no matter how much you want it to.

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Wan't the first slave owner in the US black (something people fail to realize is there were plenty of black slave owners)? Also people forget (or rather ignore) about the barbary slave trade, in their ramblings of how evil white people are. We're living in a time where the Oppression Olympics...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

And my black friends laugh at the mere thought of white privilege (as well that black people actually have their own scholarships...black privilege I suppose). So does that now mean it doesn't exist now since I have countering anecdotal evidence? There has still yet to be any shred of evidence...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

I suppose Looking at things from a "size of population" pov, then how can we ignore that black people also commit more serious crimes (ie murder) despite making up only around 13% of the population? [X] Whether it's the 'gangsta music' culture or not, but for far too many black people in...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

I guess when I posted this and other links it went unnoticed as it wouldn't fit the narrative that some people on here are trying to create. It doesn't fit in with their oppression olympics. Police kill more whites than blacks, but minority deaths generate more outrage That's part of the...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

I'm certain these white people agree with you that they enjoy the respect of police: Police Killed An Unarmed White Man In Iowa And His Community Didn't Seem To Notice An ‘unarmed’ white teen was shot dead by police. His family asks: Where is the outrage? Black Officer Shoots White Man, No...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Why assume everyone wants a "sense of community" though? I'm much more of a self sufficient and independent type of person. None of this is to say I don't get along with them either, I just have no interest in petty and meaningless conversations with them. I look forward to next year when I...

    Who are the GREEDY?

A one spot difference isn't much though. My issue is that far too many American's have this view of Canadian healthcare that simply does not exist (blame Michael Moore?). Most (even in Canada) would assume we're number 1. Number 10 seems fairly accurate. According to the study, Canadian...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Nope. Thankfully most people keep to themselves around here. Plus I also never said I attended church every Sunday, did I? I just don't care what a racist sexual deviant has to say. I do encourage people to in fact watch that MTV documentary above. It will show you just how far MTV has fallen.
