    Ephesians 1v13- believe and receive.

I don't see the 'infilling' as you call it as a one time thing. I see the Spirit like the air we breath. We need to continually breath fresh air or we will die. Try holding your breath for over 2000yrs..... My G-d is a living breathing G-d who dwells within us who believe. He feeds me...

    Biblical betrothal vs engagement

You could consider HaShem's previous time with Yisrael as an engagement of sorts. He will marry her in person in the near future, no? :) Having a honeymoon that lasts for nay a thousand years? Then living happily ever after in the new house he built for us, all! :)

    Ephesians 1v13- believe and receive.

Yet Messiah said she 'was saved'. Thoughts? About being saved without receving the Spirit? Or, did she receive the Spirit? Is it possible to have faith in Messiah without it? 1 Cor 12 3 Therefore I want you to understand that no one speaking in the Spirit of God ever says "Jesus is...

    Being An Example...

I agree with this too. We need a constant reminder of what G-d is and has done in our lives. Yisrael placed memorial stones in many places precisely for this purpose, to remember what G-d has done for us. In the psalms David always kept these moments between him and G-d at the fore front of...

    Ephesians 1v13- believe and receive.

So, how do you understand what Messiah said to the sinful woman in Luke 7? 50 And he said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in peace." This woman was a known sinner. Messiah forgave her because of her faith proved by her actions, and pronounced her 'saved'. How do you...

    What Generation are you?

Baby busters? lol never heard that one before. I was born too close to those hippy dippy baby boomers to have not been effected myself from that generation. I always hung out with the older people. What happend to the X,Y,Z descriptors? Then again, I stopped keeping up with those definitions...

one Bible verse every Christian should know

1Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. 2 For behold, darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen upon you. 3And nations shall come to your light, and kings to the...

If we have the Spirit of Truth, why do we lie?

The value of my relationships with others is not based on what they do or say, but why they do or say it. Rabbi Aron Tendler speaks well of this here: FYI: This is what I believe is the utmost commandment given by G-d: 1 John 3 23 And this is his commandment, that we believe in the...

    Homosexuality

When my children sin I don't tell them they are not mine anymore, nor do I reject 'them'. I reject their sin. And even when and as they sin against me, I love them and lead them in the way they 'should' go. It's not a 'you do your in, the minute you don't your out till you do'. It's a long...

    Herbs what are your thoughts

No problem. We used to purchase online from organic wholesalers. There are a few that used to sell hand-gathered herbs. Not sure how they faired in the resession though. We used herbs and infussed them in oils. You brew them for a month or more and then strain the herbs out and use the...

    Herbs what are your thoughts

Yes, herbs work. Learn which ones do what. Me and my wife have been living holistically/naturally for over 10yrs now. We even used to run a healing herbal market for a few years. But the resession/depression put the kybosh on that deal. But we have never stopped using herbs to address our...

    Israel and eschatology debate

Love knows no religion, love does not hold grudges, love is forever kind and giving, long-suffering and .......(wait for it).....endures forever!! Love is the reason we are here. It is surely the reason Messiah came and sacrificed his own life for ours. "I have given you an example....do as I...

    A question worth asking

When I spent about a year in the Vineyard we had just that. Local small groups that met once to twice a week and then we all met coporately on sundays for some GOOD Music praise and worship! lol :) I think this small group model works well.

Why is it called Messianic Judaism, instead of Messianic Christianity?

Paul made it quite clear where he personally stood on this, no? Acts 21:39 ESV Paul replied, "I am a Jew, from Tarsus in Cilicia, a citizen of no obscure city. I beg you, permit me to speak to the people." Acts 22:3 ESV"I am a Jew, born in Tarsus in Cilicia, but brought up in this city...

Why is it called Messianic Judaism, instead of Messianic Christianity?

This is supersessionism. It's been leavening the Church for over 2000yrs. There are Christians who are not supersessionist, usually Baptists from my experience.
