In what way is a protestant baptism "not valid"? I was baptized as a Catholic with no idea of what was happening.. I was later baptized as an an adult with the complete u derstanding of what it meant. What would make that an invalid one?

I don't think salvation is contingent on going to church. I do think that a Christian can greatly benefit from it. And plus, I'm sure God loves it when his kids get together to worship Him... As for baptism- the only thing that is required for salvation is faith.. Should you be baptized...

Not terribly controversial? Mary didn't die on the cross for me.. I'm an ex catholic so I've heard pretty much everything that can be said in support of honoring Mary. Thank u for your response though

Hmmmm..interesting question. I'm sure you'll get a variety of answers. While it is ideal for both partners to be virgins, I would not hold that against the other person or use that as a reason to not marry them if they have repented. We all make mistakes. That is my thought on it
