Yeah, but this is the head of the Catholic church in England and Wales. The head. Is it wrong to want the guy at the top to be a little more-- hm, orthodox? This isn't the first thing he's said or done that's contrary to church teaching, and probably won't be the last, either.

I assume he thinks the Pope is the anti-christ (as that's a common belief amongst SDAs and some other denominations) and that it's a sign-- as well as the other things he listed-- that we're entering the end-times and we should all be making for our under-ground bunkers, so to speak.
