How do I know which denomition/group I belong too?

I believe in the basic tenants of Christianity that Jesus is the Son of God, He lived the perfect life and died for our sins and rose from the Grave. That we are born sinners in need of God's grace. And faith without works is dead. I just threw the non-belief of the rapture in because I know...

How do I know which denomition/group I belong too?

Here. When I do go to church which is rare because I work Sundays it is to a Calvary Chapel. But they believe in the pre-trib rapture...so I just don't talk about it.

How do I know which denomition/group I belong too?

I wasn't raised in any particular denomination and when I was in college attended and joined the United Methodists but no longer a member now. When I do go to church it is at a Calvary Chapel but I don't believe in the Rapture.

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

<STAFF EDIT> Yes it does. That is how it has been used in every single conversation I've participated in or listened too. The fact that it is not being used that way makes this conversation an exception.

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

I'm not saying that white people are not racist. Of course some of them are. The term white privilege implies that only white people are racist and that all white people are racist. While minorities are not racist and in fact can not be racist. Throwing the term white privilege into a...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Then equally you shouldn't dismiss the opinions of white people who have said they never experienced this white privilege because I have yet to experience it. I noticed a few other white people have not experienced it either. I will give you a couple of examples. I worked at a fast food...

How one's JOB reflects their TRUE faith.

All we are trying to say, at least me, is that you cannot judge a person's walk by the type of job they hold. You don't know why they are in that job. Trust me, I didn't want to be a pharm tech, I wanted to work in a museum but life told me otherwise.

Just be an anarchist and follow the laws that you see fit your criteria of a good law. But you know expect punishment and persecution for the laws you decide not to follow.

Separation of Church and State, is it a positive thing for Christians?

I suggest you read "A Handmaid's Tale" by Margaret Atwood. Imagine America having to be under Catholic rule since I see you are protestant. Or Southern Baptist rule or Methodist rule. So basically anything that goes against what the ruling power says is doctrine would become illegal.

How one's JOB reflects their TRUE faith.

I don't think your job is indicative of your walk with Jesus as a Christian unless you are doing things that are illegal like dealing drugs or committing crimes or somehow in the sex industry. But even then that person might be a young Christian and hasn't built their faith up enough to trust...

How one's JOB reflects their TRUE faith.

I don't if working for a Christian corporation is all it's cracked up today. When I was out of work six years ago I applied for a job at a Christian bookstore. One of the requirements was that I work Sunday mornings. They also told me I wasn't Christian enough to work for them. I currently work...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

Well, this conversation has gone better than most. I've been in conversations where I've tried to give my opinion the moment they find out I'm white they scream privilege at me and then say that everything I say is automatically racist because I am white. Pretty much all the conversations on...

What is "White Privilege" in american politics and law?

There are just as many poor white people as there are poor minority people. They just aren't talked about because it doesn't further the liberal agenda.
