The Penguino Family - Lean on us when you're not strong, and we'll help you carry on

These are just those who worked with her on staff...I know she had a lot of friends here who were non-staff as well. It's amazing that one person can have touched so many others and left such an impact even after she's gone.

    Adjesumpermarium, rest with God

I worked on staff with Dede for years - she was a wonderful woman of God and taught me much about what it means to be Christian. Dede touched so many people through her actions and she will be greatly missed :(. Pax Christi my friend.

    Bloodshot Sydney!

It's a dust storm that's resulted from a very low pressure system sweeping across Australia. The dust has been picked up and carried from both NT and SA and has headed north along the eastern coast. It's now stretched up to Brisbane and may yet hit NZ before it settles.

Yeah, I'm good. I've got most of my assignments out of the way now and am spending most of my time looking after the dogs or reading the Twilight series atm (my sister freaked when I told her I hadn't read them). Are you taking time out for yourself at all too Katey? There's a lot more to...

    need to say this

I'm sorry this has been such a struggle and it seems like you haven't really been given any answers. Have you told your doctor that his suggestions don't seem to be working, and have you considered getting a second opinion from another GP or a nutritionist?

losing my best friend to suicide. how do you cope?

It's been suggested to me before to make a scrapbook of all the good memories you have of her. Maybe some photos, or letters, or other things that remind you of her. When you miss her, sometimes taking out the scrapbook and remembering can help. To cope though? Seeing a counsellor is a good...

Is Kyle Sandilands really to blame?

I thought that it was illegal for minors (under 16) to have sex at all in Australia. How could they really think that putting a 14 year old on air to ask about just that wouldn't immediately involve DoCS and have a bad ending. Really .

I'm doing well :). Getting ready for mid-semester exams and looking at puppies :D:D:D. Arnott is below (or, he will be 'Arnott' if we get him). With uni, take it one step at a time . It stresses you every year and I know it can be hard to get back into the swing of things after you've had...

Hey Katey . I don't know that you're useless for taking someone to hospital - it sounds rather responsible to me . Do you know how she's doing at all? (And how are you coping with it all?)

Rant away :). Isn't that what the best coffee shops are for? *Makes April a hot chocolate and sits down* Hun, I think the best way to tell that you're trying is how much you're stressing over it. I don't know that you'd be this affected by it if you weren't trying, but you're stressing...

I very much agree with Dee and Katie . I'm also sending a kangaroo (pretend it's snuggly) and, if you've decided I'm not too stalkerish, can we organise to catch up on Skype at some point? FindingAWay's kangaroo:

(I got to see my dog with a citronella colar on...it was the most amazing experience ever :D. She stopped barking :D:D:D:D)

    not sure where to start

You can get it on Ebay here if you're interested :). As for your last post wondering if you're being selfish, I understand your husband's want to be intimate, but I also think he needs to understand that sex is not the only way you can be intimate. Selfish might be refusing to get close to...
