    Capitalism- Good or Bad?

I see what you're saying here, but ignoring the overall economic implications, if worker-run business is ineffecient in a free market why do you think they would suddenly work under a socialist system? Or is effeciency just not an ideal?

    Capitalism- Good or Bad?

Can be a bit more specific? Do you seriously view the Soviet Union and Cuba as successes? The latest estimates have Russia's population at about 142 million. How can there be more poor people in Russia than there are people in Russia? And socialism/communism is to thank for this...

    Capitalism- Good or Bad?

What is the economic outlook for these countries? When you say "retistributing the wealth" what you really mean is "government takes from some and gives to others," no? Why is the American system substandard? What is its solution?

    Capitalism- Good or Bad?

The Great Depression was not a result of a unregulated economy. It was the result of poor monetary policies by the Federal Reserve, and made worse by government intervention. It's a shame that Hoover and Roosevelt didn't take Harding's 1921-22 example. As for "robber barons," I think you need...

    Capitalism- Good or Bad?

This is a good point. "Monopoly," for example, originally referred to a grant from the king which restricted trade in a certain area to whoever he was being bribed by.

    Capitalism- Good or Bad?

Fair trade is fine and probably even a good thing until it imposes limits on free exchange. To me "equal rights" means rights that everyone has -equally. Just because one is in a more disadvantaged situation than another, does not mean that they have any less of a right than anyone else. The...

City must pay atheists group for violating Constitution

You were arguing that people shouldn't have to support something which they disagree with. The examples I brought up go along with this, no? I didn't even say "freedom from taxation." I believe that freedom from taxation is a right in the sense that freedom from coersion is a natural right...

Then it's an argument from principle, no? Which begs the question, shouldn't the principle be consistent?

City must pay atheists group for violating Constitution

So than we can only argue that principle if it's in the constitution? If freedom of religion wasn't in the constitution would the argument be void?

    Capitalism- Good or Bad?

Can you brig up a specefic example of this? Free trade is equal rights, "fair trade" imposes coersion and violates rights.

City must pay atheists group for violating Constitution

This is a good point and I agree. However, I'm curious do you just believes that this applies to religion? Would you apply this to other situations? If I disagree with our social security system or public schools, shouldn't I not be forced to give the government my taxes?
