    Some interesting news :)

No problem :) I mean it the same way as how I described how she encourages me to grow deeper in my faith. Supporting her in anything related to her faith... As an example, for the week leading up to Divali, she wanted to fast from certain types of food/alcohol. So I fasted with her to make it...

    Some interesting news :)

Yep yep! Or to give you a longer explanation: My only concern about a partner faith-wise is that they encourage me and support me in growing stronger in my faith - as I believe I should do for my partner. She does that better than most Christians I have dated. She gets me reading the Bible...

Thanks y'all! Yeah I wasn't sure the proper way to spell it. Her family spells/says it Duvali but I know that isn't the regular way to say it. And Trent, yep it's the same girl! We have been together nine months now and I have been so excited to pop the question! Thanks for all the congrats :)...

    Some interesting news :)

Hey guys! Just wanted to drop by and let you all know some interesting news that happened to me on Duwali on the 13th (my girlfriend is Indian). It's traditional to give people candy on Duwali to wish them a prosperous and joyful year. I gave candy to her family and some of my family that were...

    Hey all, an update...

Personally I prefer Western African lit. You get some of the more popular authors to Americans in there, and their oral traditions are amazing! A lot of the Northern lit is very dry. I also like reading about the Kilimanjaro/Serengeti area, although the anthropology type studies are more...

    Hey all, an update...

Don't worry about coming off strong, interesting viewpoints :) As far as African literature is concerned, they have a very deep oral tradition which dates back as far as anyone else. While many of those oral traditions have been transcribed following the 1800's, some of the greatest African...

    Hey all, an update...

I'm so bad at this haha, she still has a lot to teach me. Hindu, the religion. She doesn't speak Hindi, and while she was born in Trinidad, she has been in America since she was a kid :D
