    Worthiness

hhhmmm, that seems to happen when when you try to make an unbiblical point. Those who know God's Word seem to know better and don't take the bait. Better luck with your next analogy.;)

    Flip Sides of the Coin?

Unfortunatly for you, the LDS teachings do not match up with the Biblical ones. Therefore, you can either believe what your church teaches or you can believe what God's Word teaches, you can't honestly say that you fully believe both because to say that is a contradiction of truth

    Flip Sides of the Coin?

Nope. Baptism of water is not nessassary for salvation. Baptism of the Holy Spirit is.

The Idolatrous Image of the Mormon God?

I've seen a lot more pictures of lds temples and lds prophets in lds homes than I have of Jesus.

    More LDS "Interpretation"

It really doesn't matter to me what Buddist think of Christianity, what matters is what God thinks of it. I think I understand the point you are trying to make, I just don't agree with it. We are to stand firm in God and His word, we are to avoid and renounce false gods. If Buddist or...

    More LDS "Interpretation"

Except that Buddah is a false god and an idol and the cross of Jesus is not. You seem to be missing the whole point. God's word tells us over and over again how important the cross of Jesus is.... does it say that about Buddah? Nope.

I am not a "dude". I am a grown woman that doesn't use imature terms like "dude" when addressing people. You can have your false idols and fill your house with them if you like. I will stick with what pleases the God of the Bible.

    More LDS "Interpretation"

Not a very good example considering that it is a known fact that Buddah is a false god and an idol and has no practical use like a computer does. You will have to do better than that. P.S. If you join or start a group that worships computers, you would most likely also believe that there are...

    More LDS "Interpretation"

If first hand accounts are so "important" to lds in regards to their beliefs and what they will accept as "fact", why does the lds church not use the version of the "First vision" that is actually in JS handwriting rather than other peoples "second hand" accounts of what he said happened later on?

    More LDS "Interpretation"

Let's put it this way. I am a Christian. Jesus is my God. I would not have an idol of a false god in my home because it would insult the one true God that I worship and love. No, I would not have an idol of Buddah in my home.

Should Children Partake Of The Communion?

I agree. I don't think that anyone should take communion unless they are believers. This includes not only children but adults too. My children did not take communion until they came to Jesus and accepted Him as their Lord and Savior. Of course when we were lds, my kids always took the lds...

    The Preexistence general discussion

Not at all. We are His creation, in that way we are His "children" but we are not members of God's family until we come to Christ and are indwelled with the Holy Spirit. Reading in context is a great thing. Proof texting is not.

    More LDS "Interpretation"

Here's the thing... Budda is a false god and an idol. Enough said there. As far as JS goes, if he truly were a prophet of God... do you think he would continue to carry around occult items up until his death? Did Paul continue to persicute Christians after he came to Christ? Did Moses...

Mormon family life: Can any of you guys help me out here?

OH, I wouldn't be so sure of that. I know plenty of folks who were mean and nasty hateful people and the "Spirit" got ahold of them anyway and they saw the "truth" because it DID surface. God doesn't have to do things according to how man thinks they should be done. He is bigger than that.

    What is the "burning bosom?"

The Word of God. Feelings come and go so often. Feelings are NOT a reliable measuring stick for truth. Truth will always be truth, feelings will not always remain the same. Truth does not change, feelings do.

hhhmmm but didn't JS die with a jupitar talisman in his pocket or hand? Didn't JS take his occult beliefs with him to the grave?

    The Preexistence general discussion

This is a good article on this subject http://users.aristotle.net/~bhuie/gen6sons.htm To say that we do not become the children of God through adoption when we come to Christ is to ignore what the Word of God says on the subject. God is our creator, he created our physical and our spiritual...
